Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This policy explains what happens to your files and information when you use pdfcloudy.com (the “Site”) and its PDF tools (the “Service”). The Site is run by LimeWorks Digital Inc. (“LimeWorks Digital”, “we”, “us”). PDFCloudy is one of our products.
1. Your files stay in your browser
PDFCloudy tools work inside your web browser. When you open a PDF, image or document in a tool, it is processed on your own device and is not uploaded to our server. We do not see, store or keep copies of your files. The finished file is created in your browser and saved straight to your device.
One exception – Translate PDF: this tool reads the text from your PDF in your browser and then sends that text to the MyMemory translation service (api.mymemory.translated.net) to translate it. MyMemory’s own terms and privacy policy apply to that text. Please do not use Translate PDF for confidential documents.
2. Outside services the pages use
Like most websites, our pages load a few things from other companies. These requests come from your browser, so the providers receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type. They do not receive your files.
- Free code libraries (for example PDF and document tools) are loaded from public content delivery networks: cdnjs (Cloudflare), jsDelivr and unpkg. The OCR tools also download language data this way.
- Google Fonts – if you choose a Google font for text you add in the PDF editor, your browser downloads that font from Google Fonts. To keep the download small, the request lists the letters and symbols used in that text (each one once, not your text in order). The standard fonts – Helvetica / Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New – do not contact Google.
- Links to other sites – the homepage shows a SaaSHub badge and links to our own notebooks on Amazon (through the short-link service tiny.ee). If you click them, those sites’ privacy policies apply.
3. Contact form
If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message by email at contact@pdfcloudy.com, through our email provider (Hostinger). We use them only to reply to you. The form also uses your IP address for a short time to block spam and repeated messages. We keep messages for as long as we need them to answer you and for our normal business records.
4. Server logs
Our web host (Hostinger) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request, to keep the Site secure and working. These logs are kept for a limited time.
5. Cookies
PDFCloudy does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and there are no user accounts. If we add analytics or advertising (such as Google AdSense) in the future, we will update this policy first.
6. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
- We do not use your files or messages for advertising.
- We do not ask you to create an account.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under Canada’s PIPEDA or the EU/UK GDPR), you can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you – in practice, the messages you sent us. Email contact@pdfcloudy.com and we will reply within 30 days. In Canada you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
8. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how the Site works, we will update this policy and the “Last updated” date above.
